  • David M. Cruise Sr
    David M. Cruise Sr, Managing Partner, Funeral Director/Embalmer

    I have been a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1977 and I am licensed in Kansas and Alabama. I have a BS degree in Business Administration from Samford University and an Associates Degree in Mortuary Science from Jefferson State Junior College. I entered the funeral business because I wanted to help people at a time of need and I know no better way to do that than through funeral service. I have been married to Beverly for 38 years and we have 2 children and one grandchild and we adore them all. In our leisure time my wife and I show and breed Arabian horses. As an avid pilot for 30 years, I enjoy flying and organizing airshows. I attend the First Baptist Church of Ottawa and I am a member of the Ottawa Optimist Club.





  • Lacee M. Green
    Lacee M. Green, Funeral Director/Embalmer

    I joined Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home in August 2008. I am a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. I earned my Associate's Degree in Mortuary Science from Kansas City Kansas Community College in May 2007. I entered funeral service in 2003 and worked as an Assistant Funeral Director where I learned the foundation for better serving families. I feel that I put my whole heart into funeral service and I have a genuine love for every family that I serve. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my eight year old son, Trent, and attending his sports activities.

  • Floyd L. Greenwood
    Floyd L. Greenwood, Funeral Director/Embalmer

    I started in funeral service as a Funeral Director and Embalmer in 1964. I graduated from Dallas Institute Gupton-Jones in 1964. In my free time I enjoy playing chess and constructing model airplanes. I am also a member of the American Legion. I am married to Bonnie and we have two adult children and several grandchildren.

    Jere Justice, Office Manager

    I started working for Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home in 1997 as the office manager. I complete all the register books, memorial folders and help assist in the office as needed. I have three grown daughters and in my free time I enjoy spending time watching sports, playing golf and fishing.

  • DeeAnna  Kimes
    DeeAnna Kimes, Funeral Ambassador

    I started working at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home in May of 1997. My main job is working the family visitations but I also help with funerals and various jobs around the funeral home. I graduated from Ottawa High School in 1959 and from Evangel University in 1963. I taught English, typing and computers at Ottawa High School from 1964-1997. Basically I am an Ottawa original. First Assembly of God is my home church and I am very involved there. I am an avid gardener and love my flowers. Being an animal lover I couldn’t do without my dog or cat. Any spare time I find I am reading, scrapbooking, making cards or walking. I love working at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home because I love people. As a resident of Ottawa for almost 55 years, I know many hometown people and enjoy getting reacquainted with so many of my former students. Ron and I have one daughter, Patricia and two grandsons, Geoff and Zach.

  • Ron  Kimes
    Ron Kimes, Funeral Ambassador

    I began working for Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home in 1998 as a grief counselor for the community; the group met weekly for seven years. Also at this time I was a licensed pre-need representative for the funeral home. For families that do not have a minister, I conduct the services and I help with the funerals and occasionally help with visitations. I was a counselor at Ottawa High School for twenty years and worked as an English and Speech teacher for ten years prior to that. Golf is one of my great passions. Being deeply involved in my church, the First Assembly of God, is very important to me and at one time I was the Associate Pastor for thirty years. Serving in the Kansas National Guard for twenty one years was my way of serving my country. Another love I have is teaching Speech and Comparative Religion at Neosho Community College on the weekends. I have been a part of the Ottawa community for forty five years and I enjoy meeting and working with people. DeeAnna and I have one daughter, Patricia and two grandsons, Geoff and Zach.

  • Elaine  Roberts
    Elaine Roberts, Funeral Ambassador

    As a long time resident and respected leader of the Ottawa community, I have served the Ottawa community as a funeral director for numerous years. I am a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Ottawa, Soroptimist Club, RMH Auxiliary, Chapter GL of P.E.O. a member of Beta Sigma Phi and numerous other community organizations. I volunteer at the Visitors Information Center, Ransom Memorial Hopsital and I deliver Meals on Wheels. I am also a strong supporter of the Ottawa Suzuki Strings. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband, Bob, and our two children and two grandchildren. In the winters we travel to the Phoenix area and return to our home in Ottawa in the springtime.

    Bob Roberts, Funeral Ambassador

    As a long time resident and respected leader of the Ottawa community, I have served the Ottawa community as both a funeral director and embalmer for numerous years. I am a member of the Kiwanis Club, the American Legion, the VFW, the Chamber of Commerce, the RMH Auxiliary and I also sing in the choir at my church. I have been a member of Faith Lutheran Church for many years and I also volunteer with Meals on Wheels. I am married to Elaine Roberts and enjoy taking time to visit our children and grandchildren. In my free time I enjoy going to Kramer’s Pharmacy for coffee groups. In the winter months we travel to the Phoenix area and return in the springtime. I am also a strong supporter of the Ottawa Suzuki Strings.

  • Beth Testorff
    Beth Testorff, Funeral Ambassador

    I was raised in New Jersey and came to Ottawa, Kansas in 1964 to attend Ottawa University. I graduated, married and left Ottawa in 1968 for 5 years. I taught High School physical education for those years and upon returning to Ottawa, taught elementary physical education in Ottawa for the next 18 years. I am currently doing substitute teaching. I have been active in my church and the women’s group at the church. I have dealt with loss and also assisted at many funeral dinners at our church. I hope that my experiences and caring spirit are useful in my work at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home.

  • Russ Testorff
    Russ Testorff, Funeral Ambassador

    I am a native Kansas who grew up in Oswego, Kansas and moved to Ottawa in 1966. I left briefly after graduating from Ottawa University in 1968 and returned in 1973. I attended seminary for 2 years from 1968-1970. I taught in special education programs in Ottawa for 25 years and in Lawrence for 6 years. I currently am serving as the site coordinator at Future Visions, a diploma completion program for adults. I have always been active in church and served in many capacities including committee chair, usher and church moderator. I viewed my years of teaching as serving those students who experienced learning problems during their education career. My coming to Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home is now my new area of service. I wish to assist those who are dealing with grief and the loss of a loved one.

  • Tom  Griffin
    Tom Griffin, Funeral Ambassador

    I started working for Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home in 1993 as a Family Services Coordinator, with my main job handling the pre-arrangement funeral planning. I enjoy working with people relating to pre arranging their funerals. I am now an ambassador for Lamb-Roberts, assisting with visitations and funerals. I belong to the Baldwin City Rotary Club and I am on the Board of Directors for Hancuff Place in Baldwin City and at the present time I am the President of this board. I am also a member of the Church of Christ and one of the two elders of the congregation. I have three grown sons, seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter. In my leisure time my wife and I enjoy traveling in our motorhome.

    I started working at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home in 2002 as a Funeral Ambassador. I assist with funeral services and visitations when needed. I enjoy working with the public and helping people in need. I am a member of the North Baptist Church in Ottawa. My wife, Marge, and I have three adult children, several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
