Carol Sue Fritz

Carol Sue (Viets) Fritz, 68, of Overbrook, KS passed away January 7, 2015 at Brookside Retirement Community in Overbrook, KS. Carol was born July 22, 1946 in Ravenna, Ohio, the daughter of Hamilton Viets and Isabella (Krueger) Viets. Carol graduated from Fond du lac, Wisconsin High School with the class of 1964. Carol loved the outdoors, enjoying hiking, and fishing. A nature lover, she was always at the lake, often at Cedar Lake and Hillsdale Lake. Carol also loved cats. Carol was united in marriage with Ralph Fritz, March 16, 1970 in Missouri. He survives of the home. Carol is also survived by two sons, Brian Fritz of Martindale, TX and Joel Fritz of Overland Park, KS; two sisters, Margarite Wondrock of New London, WI and Jane Kenas-Heller of Chicago, IL; brother, Greg Viets of Marion, IA; and grandchildren, Aaron Fritz, Miles Fritz, Olivia Fritz, and Ethan Fritz. Carol is preceded in passing by her parents. Mrs. Fritz will lie in state Sunday January 11, 2015 from 1-4p.m. at Greenwood-Roberts Funeral Home, Overbrook, KS. The graveside service will be held Monday January 12, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery Olathe, KS. Condolences may be sent to the family through www.lamb-roberts.com.
