Chris Josephson Obituary

Chris Josephson, 89, died Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Ransom Memorial Hospital, Ottawa. She was born to the late Willie Jr. and Janie Crawford, April 7, 1925, near Eldorado, Kansas. After graduation from high school, Chris attended The Salvation Army's officers' training college in Chicago and was commissioned as a lieutenant in the "field core". She married the late Elmer Axene Josephson on New Year's Day, 1961. Together they built Bible Light International, an inter-faith, inter-denominational trust to bring about better relations between Christians and Jews. Together Elmer and Chris spent their lives together serving the Lord through Bible Light International. They also had an aggregate 8 years living in and around Jerusalem, Israel. Chris is survived by a nephew, Gary Reavis, of Tennessee and a niece, Jeanie Edwards of Springfield, Missouri. Family will meet with friends from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Friday February20, 2015 at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, Ottawa. Funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday February 20, 2015 at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, Ottawa, KS. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to Bible Light Ministries c/o Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 14, Ottawa, KS 66067.
