Darick James Crosley

Darick James Crosley, age 18 of Pomona, Kansas, passed away May 14, 2015. He was born in Merriam, Kansas, November 11, 1996 the son of Daryl Crosley and Tracy (Morris) Crosley. He was a 2015 graduate of Ottawa High School where he was also a member of the Ottawa Cyclone Football Team as well an avid weight lifter. Darick was also a Honor Roll Student at O.H.S. Darick spent his early childhood in Merriam area before moving to Pomona 3 years ago. As a young man he regularly attended the First Baptist Church of Shawnee. He also attended Ottawa First Assembly where he was active in the youth group and played guitar on the worship team. Many also knew Darick from his recent time as an employee at the Dairy Queen in Ottawa, Darick is survived by his parents, Daryl and Tracy Crosley of Pomona; a sister, Joy Crosley of Pomona; a brother, Todd Crosley of Pomona; paternal grandparents, Larry and Charlotte Crosley of Lenexa, Kansas; maternal grandparents, Dennis and Luella Morris of Shawnee, Kansas; great grandmother, Betty Smith of Shawnee, Kansas; numerous aunts and uncles and several cousins. He is preceded in death by his great grandfather, Wyon Smith. The family of Mr. Crosley will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Lamb-Roberts Funeral of Ottawa. Funeral services will be 10a.m., Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Ottawa University Fredrickson Chapel. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Overland Park.
