Debra Lee Beaumont

Debra Lee Beaumont age 65 of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away August 9, 2016 at Olathe Medical Center, Olathe, KS. She was born June 12, 1951 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of Floyd Howard and Edna Marie (Wilson) Howard. Debra grew up and lived her early adult life in Kansas City, KS. She then moved to Gardner, KS for two years, Edgerton, KS for ten year, Olathe for 10 years eventually moving to Ottawa in 2000. She was a member of the New Life Baptist Church, Garnett, KS. On December 3, 1966 Debra was united in marriage to David Beaumont in Kansas City, MO at Broadway Baptist Church. Debra and David shared over 49 years of loving marriage together. Debra was a loving Housewife and Homemaker for her family, throughout her life. She enjoyed camping and travel, but those trips were always made more special for her when it was with her family. From her kids to her grandkids her adoration and nurturing love for them kept them always well aware that she was always there for them if in need. She was also a faithful believer in her Lord. She enjoyed her time at church, from times with fellow believers to her time helping others to finding Jesus her time at church was always important and enjoyed. Surviving family includes her husband, David Beaumont of their home; father Floyd Howard, Waverly, KS; three children, David Albert Beaumont, Jr. Gardner KS, Marcy Dix, Ottawa, KS, Brian Beaumont, Herrington; four siblings, Flo Star, Waverly, KS, Liz Ward, Bucklin, KS, Leonard, Howard, Jr., Waverly, KS, Donna Turner, Waverly, KS; ten grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren. Debra is preceded in death by her mother, Edna Howard. Graveside funeral services will be 10:00a.m., Saturday August 13, 2016 at Highland Cemetery, Ottawa.
