John Scott Fairchild

JOHN SCOTT FAIRCHILD, 46, of Silver Lake, KS found peace Thursday, August 6, 2015 at his home. He was born March 21, 1969 in Topeka, KS the son of John J. Fairchild and Connie (Cooper) Fairchild. In 1988, Scott graduated from the Robert E. Lee High School in Houston, TX. Scott was a career Auto Mechanic specializing in Chevrolets and Hondas. Scott married Anita Herechski, they later divorced. Scott was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching #3 Dale Earnhardt Jr. race. He also enjoyed spending time with family. Scott was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Don and Joyce Forth; maternal grandfather, Dean Cooper and step grandfather, Floyd Bishop. He is survived by his daughter, Eva Marie Fairchild of Topeka, KS; a granddaughter, Brooklyn Allerheiligen of Topeka, KS; his father, John J. Fairchild and wife, Robin of Overbrook, KS; his mother, Connie Fairchild of Topeka, KS; a sister, Julie Fairchild Cote' of Osage City, KS; maternal grandmother, Ada Bishop of Topeka, KS; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A celebration of life will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, August 15, 2015 at the Anderson-Raible American Legion Post 239, 16119 S. Shawnee Heights Road, Overbrook, KS 66524.
