Margurite Andrews Obituary

Margurite (Lantz) Andrews, 92, Ottawa, passed away December 28, 2014 at Ottawa Retirement Village, Ottawa, Kansas. Margurite was born in Wolbach, Nebraska on January 8, 1922 to Frank Lantz and Edith (Partaka) Lantz. She graduated from St. Paul, Nebraska in 1941. She married Harold Andrews in 1942 and two children were born to this union, Gary and Danny. After Harold was discharged from the service, they moved to North Platte, NE to make their home. Margurite worked at various jobs and was very active in clubs, North Platte BPO Does, Ladies Shrine club, Legion Auxiliary and very active in her church groups. Her and her husband loved to dance and traveled all over Nebraska to enter dance contests. Besides caring for her family, she loved to cook and decorate for every holiday, always sharing her goodies with friends and relatives. She is survived by her son Danny and wife Pam; granddaughter Kori and her husband Brian Demoret; her great grandson Aiden Demoret; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Harold; son Gary; sister Lavida Morgan and brother Bernard Lantz. A graveside service will be held Saturday January 3, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery, St Paul, Nebraska. Condolences may be sent to the family through www.lamb-roberts.com.
