Nathalee Forrest Linden

Nathalee Forrest Linden, 83, passed away September 12, 2014 at Brookside Manor, Overbrook, Kansas. She was born in Ottawa, Kansas, October 23, 1930 the daughter of Fred Forrest and Hazel (Ely) Harrison. She attended Ottawa High School with the class of 1948. On July 10, 1948, Nathalee was united in marriage to Donald Linden. Donald and Nathalee made their home in Overbrook for over 54 years, proudly sharing over 66 years of marriage. She was a wife, homemaker and mother of four children. She also sold Mary Kay Cosmetics for 15 years. She was a member of Maranatha Baptist Fellowship, Topeka. Nathalee is survived by her husband William Donald Linden, Overbrook; two sons, Bill Linden of Topeka, Rick Linden and his wife, Jane, Troy, Ohio; two daughters, Jill Olson, Bedford, Texas, Kim Wikle and her husband, Richard, of Birmingham, Alabama; four grandchildren, Ronnie Wikle and his wife, Jessica, Pomona, Kansas, Elizabeth Mann and her husband, Daniel, of Kansas City, Missouri, Laura Barnard and her husband Sydney of Beaver Creek, Ohio, Chris Linden of Troy, Ohio, Lorna Wikle, Birmingham Alabama; two great grandchildren, Ryan Coleman , Kansas City, Missouri, Kaelie Mae Wikle, Pomona; and one sister, Shirley Fischer. She is preceded in death by her brother, Charles Duane "Bud" Harrison, sister, Dorothy Marie Gifford, and Granddaughter, Megan Elizabeth Linden. The family of Mrs. Linden will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Greenwood-Roberts Funeral of Overbrook. Funeral services will be 11a.m., Wednesday, September 17 at Maranatha Baptist Fellowship, Topeka. Interment will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Williamsburg, Kansas.
