Priscilla Combado (Castro) Shubin, 70, Ottawa, KS passed away Wednesday, October 05, 2016 at the Olathe Medical Center, Olathe, KS. She was born March 14, 1946 in Agana, Guam the daughter of Jose G. Castro and Guadalupe C. (Combado) Castro. She moved from Guam to Venice, CA where she graduated from Venice High School in 1964. She married John Robert Shubin in Culver City, CA in 1965. Priscilla worked in the Accounting Department for the All Freight Systems in Kansas City, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Joseph Castro. Surviving family include her husband, John Robert Shubin of Ottawa, KS; three sons, Eric Shubin of Van Nuys, CA, John Shubin Jr. of Spring Hill, KS, and James Shubin of Wellsville, KS; four sisters, Rosalind Russell of Hermosa Beach, CA, Mary Robie of Foot Hill Ranch, CA, Fran Castro of Van Nuys, CA and Doris Lawrence of Hermosa Beach, CA; and nine grandchildren. Private services will be held at a later date. Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, 325 S. Hickory, Ottawa, KS 66067 in charge of arrangements.
