Shawna Patrice Conger

Shawna Patrice (Brown) Conger, age 53, of Carbondale, Kansas, passed away on October 9, 2015, at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka, KS. She was born September 5, 1962, in Dodge City, KS, the daughter of Patrick W. Brown and Sandra J. (Rogers) Brown. Shawna lived most of her life in Wichita, KS, having worked at Boeing as a riveter in airplane production lines. She was a member of Grace Community Church in Overbrook, KS. Shawna is survived by a daughter, Samantha Comer and husband Harlan of Overbrook; two sons, Johnny Frank Conger III of Wichita, Christopher Conger of Topeka; two grandsons, Gavin Conger of Wichita, Camren Conger of Topeka; two granddaughters, Kyla Conger of Hutchinson, KS, Savanna Gail Comer of Overbrook; and a sister, Shelley Fletcher of Joplin, Missouri. She is preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Michael Conger; and an infant grandson, Nathan Leslie Conger. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at Grace Community Church, Overbrook. Inurnment will follow at Carbondale Cemetery, Carbondale, Kansas.
