Terry Dee Walleck, 74, Ottawa, KS, passed away October 13, 2015 at her residence in Ottawa. She was born November 27, 1940 in Ponca City, Oklahoma the daughter of Samuel G. and Lucile (Moberly) Fish. She grew up in Kansas City and was a 1958 graduate of Wyandotte High School. Terry resided in Ponca City, Oklahoma for five years and Kansas City, KS for twenty-four years before moving to Ottawa, Kansas in 1970 where she has since resided. She was united in marriage to Joseph V. Walleck on December 2, 1960 in Kansas City, KS. They shared almost fifty-five years of marriage. Joseph survives of the home. She was employed at Carter's Accounting as a bookkeeper, at Hotpoint/General Electric as a bookkeeper/key punch operator and at Ramsey Printing in Ottawa, KS as a proof reader for over twenty years before she retired. She was a member of the Ottawa Church of The Nazarene where she was a Board Member, a Women's Ministry Leader for seven years and a Sunday School Teacher. Terry was also a 4-H project leader in cooking, sewing, canning and crocheting. Her favorite pastimes were counted cross-stitch and reading. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandkids and great grandkids. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Walleck; daughters, Donna Ferguson of Ottawa, KS, Vicki Yates (Terry) of Eskridge, Kansas and Mindy Walleck (Tony Jennings) of West Chester, PA; grandchildren, Jamie Ojeda of Aurora, CO, Derek Mietchen (Angie) of Topeka, KS, Stephanie Nelson and Myla Yates of Eskridge, KS, Austin Goodale (Stormy) of Ottawa and Jacob and Jolene Johnson and Anthony Jennings of West Chester, PA; siblings, Kay Hill (Orlan) of Kansas City, KS and Linda Supulver (Chet) of Pleasant Hill, MO She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Samuel Fish, Jr. The family will meet with friends from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home on Sunday, October 18, 2015. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 19, 2015 at the Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, Ottawa. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery, Ottawa, Kansas.
