Vivian Carol (Collins) Werntz, 64, Ottawa, KS, passed away October 3, 2015 at Ransom Memorial Hospital, Ottawa. She was born September 26, 1951 in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of Ned Fieldon Collins and Barbara Eileen Cornett. At the age of 7 she moved with her family to Ottawa where she has lived since. She was 1969 graduate of Ottawa High School. A graduate of Kansas City Business College, a 1996 graduate of Neosho Community College, and in 1998 she received a Bachelor of Arts in Business. Vivian was a waitress at the 50/59 Grill, and the Other Place, Ottawa. She was a painter for David Wells Painting, Ottawa as well as at Cannady Supply, where she also became the accounts receivable supervisor. She then began her career as a draftsperson working for Black & Veatch Consulting Engineers and then Watson Engineering both of Kansas City, Kansas. She was also owner of the B & V Lounge in Lyndon, KS for a time. Vivian was united in marriage to Salvador Vega in 1968, they later divorced. In 1979 she married William (Bill) Werntz, they later divorced. In 1991 she was united in marriage to Jeramie Gregg, He survives of the home. She is also survived by her children, Ayron Windwalker Werntz and April Collins, Ottawa, Venus Donn Clark and husband Monte, Ottawa, Tanis Silverhawk Gregg, Ottawa; siblings, Thomas Collins, Lansing, KS, Desiree Prince and husband, Rev. Roy, Oklahoma, Mary Kitt, Osage City, KS, Charles, Olathe, KS, Bonnie LeValley, Branson, MO, John Mark Collins, Florida, Timothy Collins, South Carolina, Matthew Collins, Florida, Martha Collins, South Carolina, Luke Collins; Grandchildren, Jon Scott Clark, Malissa Donn Clark, Sonny Garon Gregg, Somer Raine Gregg, Megan Donn Clark, Bryant Michael Clark, Rocky Helm and wife, Wanda, Tabitha Lynn Rockers; Great-Grandchildren Lynna Clark, Javelle Clark, Marshall Clark, Brenda LaTrell, Harley Brannan, Jasmine Brannan, Emma Horne, Grant Horne, Paisley Horne, Kodi Garrett, Tristan Clark; and a step-sister Patricia Hopkins. Preceding her in death is her parents, siblings, Johnny Dean Collins, James LeValley, Victor Matthew LeValley; son, Marshall Gregg; and Grandchildren, Tina Marie Vega, Alex Russel Bowles-Gregg. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Ottawa Church of the Nazarene, Ottawa.
