Agustina J. Soto

Agustina J. Soto, age 89, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Ottawa Retirement Village, Ottawa, KS. She was born December 20, 1928 in El Trevol, Santa Fe, Argentina, the daughter of Jose Pedro Depetris and Pompeya Maria Zamboni. She graduated from high school in Argentina and worked for the Argentine military as a secretary. Agustina was united in marriage to Oscar Augustin Soto on July 20, 1946 in Guadalupe, Santa Fe, Argentina. He preceded her in death. She lived in the United States for 25 years including Vincennes, Indiana and moved to Ottawa in 2008. Agustina was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother. She is survived by a daughter, Cristina Valledor and her husband, Pedro, of Mexico; a granddaughter, Joyce McGurk and her husband, Dan, of Ottawa; two grandsons, Peter Valledor and his wife, Paula, of Vincennes, IN, and Adrian Valledor and his wife, Aurora, of Cabo San Lucas; four great grandchildren, Crais and Lawson McGurk, and Mikenze and Malachi Valledor; and one great-great grandchild.
