Eunice Christina Breithaupt

Eunice Christina (Pohl) Breithaupt, 95, of Overbrook, KS went to be with the Lord on January 25, 2019. She was born January 12, 1924 at the family home in rural Baldwin City, KS to Henry and Alma Pohl, the youngest of 3 children. She married Fred Breithaupt on April 4, 1945 at her parent's home in Ottawa, KS. Fred and Eunice farmed and raised cattle for over 50 years on their farm outside of Overbrook. She is survived by her daughters, Charlotte Breithaupt of Dallas, TX; Marilyn and Karl Peterjohn of Wichita, KS and Janice and Tom Laymon of Wilmington, DE; grandchildren, Christina and Alex Peterjohn and Werke Laymon. Eunice was predeceased by her parents; husband; brothers, Orvil Pohl and Ralph Pohl and a grandson, Alazar Laymon. A family visitation will be held Friday evening, February 1st from 6 to 8 pm at Grace Community Church, 310 E. 8th St., Overbrook, KS 66524. Graveside services will be 10 am Saturday, February 2nd at Worden United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Church is located at 298 E. 900th Rd., Baldwin City, KS 66006. The cemetery is just east of the Church on Highway 56. The family suggests memorials to the Grace Community Church, Worden United Methodist Church, or Sunday Breakfast Mission, 110 N.
