Lorrie Joy Sanchez

Lorrie Joy Sanchez, age 49, of Wellsville, KS, passed away March 5, 2020, at her home. She was born June 13, 1970 in Phoenix, AZ, the daughter of Edward A. Sanchez and Jacque (McHugh) Sanchez. Lorrie grew up in the Phoenix area graduating from Maryvale High School with the class of 1989. In 2004 Lorrie moved to Baldwin City, KS and later to Wellsville, KS. Lorrie was a lifelong homemaker. She was a member of Life Church, Wellsville, KS. She was a free spirited loving woman. She had a goofy sense of humor and always loved to put a smile on her loved ones faces. Every one of her daughter's friends was treated like one of her own. She loved unconditionally. Caring for the kids was her passion and lifelong job. She dedicated herself to being John's, her husband, caregiver during his battle with long-term cancer. Lorrie is survived by a daughter, Kayla McCluskey; brother, Eddie Sanchez; two sisters, Lainie Sanchez, Stephanie Sweeney; and husband, John Dale. She is preceded in death by her father and uncle, Larry Newsome. A Celebration of Lorrie's life will be from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Tuesday March 10, 2020 at The Olathe Deaf Club, 2215 Chestnut St., Olathe, KS 66061.
