Margie A. Rodgers

Margie Ann (Fox) Rodgers, 69, of Eudora, KS and formerly of Ottawa, KS passed away Friday, December 27, 2019 at the Olathe Medical Center, Olathe, KS. She was born April 10, 1950 in Ottawa, KS the daughter of James W. Fox and Dorothy (Ogle) Fox. She grew up and attended schools in Ottawa, KS. Margie was united in marriage to William Rodgers on August 2, 1965 in Ottawa, KS. Margie was a homemaker and enjoyed crafting floral arrangements. She later worked as an Assembler for Trade Net in Baldwin City, KS; Kingston in Eudora, KS and retired in 2010 at Huhtamaki in De Soto, KS. Margie will be remembered for her love of playing games; fishing; cooking and crafting. Mrs. Rodgers was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James W. Fox Jr. She is survived by her husband, William Rodgers of Eudora, KS; two sons, Bill Rodgers and wife, Laverna of Eudora, KS and Tim Rodgers and wife, Shelly of Eudora, KS; a daughter, Kelley Sheffield of Garnett, KS; eleven grandchildren, Amber, Josh, Jake, Caleb, Arissa, Sophia, Makenzie, Cody, Kyle, Katelyn and Kenneth; twelve great-grandchildren; a niece, Macy Fox of Gray, GA; and a nephew, Eric Fox of Ottawa, KS. To celebrate Margie's life, a memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, 325 S. Hickory, Ottawa, KS 66067.
