Norma Albright Obituary

Norma L. Albright, 87 of Ottawa, KS passed away Sunday, April 9, 2017 at the Olathe Medical Center, Olathe, KS. She was born May 3, 1929 on a farm near Morland, KS the daughter of John R. and Grace Elizabeth (Bell) Keith. Norma worked as a Secretary for Singer Sewing Machine Company in Manhattan, KS. She was united in marriage to Francis Boyd Albright on December 2, 1974 at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Ottawa, KS. They shared over fifteen years of marriage before the death of her husband on August 30, 1990. Norma worked as a bookkeeper for the Albright Sewing Circle in Ottawa, KS. She was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Ottawa, KS. She also enjoyed volunteering with the Franklin County Historical Society and Ottawa Library. Mrs. Albright was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Francis; two brothers, Marvin Lewis Keith and Bernard John Keith; a sister, Reba Caroline Linder; and a grandson, Scotty Albright. She is survived by a step-daughter, Deanna Mae Matthews and her husband, Blaine of Cornwall, CT; a step-son, Boyd Edward Albright and his wife, Donna of Ottawa, KS; a sister, Opal Alice Carlson and her husband, Clifford of Manhattan, KS; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. To celebrate Norma's life, services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 401 W. 13th Street, Ottawa, KS 66067. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery, Ottawa, KS. The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Church before the service hour.
