Paul R. (Richard) Croker

Paul Richard Croker ("Dick") died May 2, 2018, at Olathe Medical Center at the age of 78. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 14, 2018, at Grace Episcopal Church, 315 W. 5th, Ottawa, KS at 11 a.m. Graveside service will be at Highland Park Cemetery, Pittsburg, KS on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to C.O. F. Day Services, c/o C.O.F. Training Services, Ottawa, KS. Dick was preceded in death by his parents, Paul & Luella (Luke) Croker of Pittsburg, Kansas. He is survived by 2 sisters: Janice Charter (Gary) of Haysville, Kansas and Gayle Short (Louis) of Ottawa, Kansas. Dick enjoyed being with his family, which included many nieces and nephews, listening to Hank Williams Sr., watching old western movies, and collecting marbles. He will be remembered for his constant smile, loving to tease his family and friends, never meeting a stranger, for all his stories, and for his persistence. He will be greatly missed.
