Amy Singleterry

Amy Renee Singleterry, 42, of Kansas City, Kansas died Monday, April 15, 2024 at her home.

She was born December 21, 1981 in Kansas City, Kansas the daughter of John Ibram Singleterry and Earla Schultz. 

Amy worked for American Eagle Distribution, Ottawa, KS, in production line.  She was also a dietary aide at Wellsville Retirement Community. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Singleterry, Earla Schultz, Rita and Ruben Moncayo; her first love, Peter Nickel; a brother, George Singleterry; a sister, Mendi Lavender; and a niece, Lucy Lavender.

She is survived by two daughters, Faith Singleterry-Nickel of Kansas City, KS and Asia Powell of Kansas City, KS; two sons, Dayton Johnson of Kansas City, KS and Michael Singleterry of Kansas City, KS; a sister, Brandi Singleterry of Ottawa, KS; two brothers, John Singleterry of Kansas City, KS and Roy Sanchez of Texas; and a grandson, Fabian Miguel Soto II.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, Ottawa, KS.  To celebrate Amy’s life, a visitation will follow the service.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Amy Singleterry Memorial Fund and sent c/o Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, P.O.
