Angelena Allen Obituary

Angelena Renee Allen, 39, of Ottawa, KS passed away Friday, March 1, 2024 at Advent Health in Ottawa, KS. She was born February 16, 1985 in Lawrence, KS, the daughter of Alan Morris and Lynda (Smith) Morris. She graduated from Auburn High School in Auburn, NE with the Class of 2003. She later attended Washburn University in Topeka, KS. She was united in marriage to Beau Allen on May 25, 2019 in Ottawa, KS. She worked for Love’s Travel Stop in Ottawa, KS as a Service Manager.

Angelena was often regarded by others as, “always helpful in any situation to anyone.” She was a loving mother, friend and partner. One of her recreational pursuits included making Diamond Paintings she would often gift to others. Angelena will be remembered by others for her intelligence, quick wit and comedic responses to insert humor into everyday life.

In her early life, Angelena resided with extended family that includes being preceded in death by a father, Robert Brown of Topeka, KS; Jimmy William Frump of St. Joseph Missouri and Marshella Ungerer of St. Joseph Missouri. Surviving family members include a mother, Donna June Brown of Topeka, KS; a sister, Monica Lynn Pilcher of DeKalb, MO; a sister, Maria Ermalene Lutes of St. Joseph Missouri; a brother, Kevin Kurt Moore of Falls City, Nebraska; a brother Timothy Lee Frump, of Holton Kansas; and a brother, Christopher Zimmerman aka Robert Brown Jr. of Hays, KS

Again, later in life she was preceded in death by her mother, Lynda Smith-Morris; a sister, Randi Allana Morris; an uncle, Randy Smith; an aunt, Sherri Smith-Born; an uncle, David Morris; and a grandfather, Richard Morris. Surviving family includes her husband, Beau Allen; three sons, Jason Krystofosky-Rykert Jr. and Jaxon Krystofosky-Rykert, both of Topeka, KS; and Leo Allen of Ottawa, KS; a daughter Willow Allen of Ottawa, KS; her father, Alan Morris of Ottawa, KS; a sister, Jessika Brown of Baldwin City, KS; a niece, Kemri Madden of Topeka, KS; a brother Kyle Morris of Ottawa, KS; a nephew, Elijah Morris of Lawrence, KS; a grandmother, Carolyn Morris of Baldwin City, KS; three aunts, Ladina Miller of Edgerton, KS, Connie Darr of Pomona, KS and Julia Morris of Tightwad, MO; two uncles, Roger Morris of Baldwin City, KS and Del Morris of Baldwin City, KS; and 19 first cousins and multiple second cousins.

To celebrate Angelena’s life, a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2024 at the Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, 712 9th Street, Baldwin City, KS 66006.
