Bev A Robbins

Bev A. Robbins, 64, of Ottawa, KS died Friday, October 16, 2020 at her home.

She was born January 17, 1956 in Oswego, KS the daughter of Bobbie Gene Robbins and Avis Marguerite (Erwin) Robbins.  Early in her youth she moved with her family to Ottawa, KS.  She graduated from Ottawa High School with the class of 1974.  She then attended Ottawa University and later in life attended a respiratory therapy school.  In 1985 Bev moved to Arizona and lived there until moving back to Ottawa in 2004. 

Bev was a lifelong homemaker.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Ottawa, KS.  While raising her children, she was a Le Leche League leader, assistant midwife and doula, and assisted in leading a child loss grief support group.

Bev is survived by her daughters, Britani Potter and her husband, David, San Tan Valley, AZ, Ciera Poeverlein and her husband, Cody, Ottawa, KS; seven grandchildren, Lukas Potter, Logan Potter,  Reiden Potter, Jackson Poeverlein, Zephyr Orion Manriquez Gardner, Leni Gardner, Sundance Gardner;  two brothers, Rob Robbins, Ottawa, KS, Mark Robbins, Olathe, KS; six nieces, and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobbie (Bob) Robbins and Marguerite Robbins and three sons, Justin Gardner, Luke Gardner, and Nathan Gardner.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday October 23, 2020 at Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, Ottawa, KS.  A rosary will be said 6:00 p.m. Thursday October 22, 2020 at Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home followed by a visitation from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to Bev A.
