Bonnie Meyer Obituary

Bonnie R. Meyer, 71, of Baldwin City, Kansas passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020 at her home surrounded by family.
She was born March 18, 1949 in Hot Springs, South Dakota, the daughter of Glenn and Mildred (Porter) Evans. She graduated from Palmer High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado with the class of 1968.
Bonnie was united in marriage to Dale Meyer on December 8, 1967 in Colorado Springs, CO. They shared over 52 years of loving marriage. He survives of the home.
Together, Bonnie and Dale moved to Baldwin City, KS in June of 1985. She was a branch manager at Central Bank of the Midwest in Edgerton, KS. She also worked for Baldwin Hilltop Animal Health Center before retiring.
Bonnie loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a great wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed doing needlepoint and had an extensive Precious Moments figurine collection.
She was preceded in death by her father, Glenn, and a sister, Kathleen Barton.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Dale Meyer, Baldwin City, KS; her mother, Mildred, Fence Lake, New Mexico; two sons, Leeland Meyer and his wife, Kristi, St. Louis, Missouri, and Brian Meyer, Pomona, KS; six grandchildren, Aislyn Meyer, Gabriel Meyer, Jacob Meyer, Tucker Meyer, Bryson Meyer, and Isabella Meyer; four sisters, Darleen Wright, Hot Springs, SD, Audrey Rudd, Fence Lake, NM, Echo Corley, Lamar, CO, and Lorie Evans, Colorado Springs, CO; and a brother, Dale Evans, Lyndon, KS.
