Brian Keith Bruno

Brian Keith Bruno, age 47, of Ottawa, KS, passed away August 4, 2020, at his home. He was born February 25, 1973 in Pittsburgh, PA, the son David Johns, Sr. and Debra (Pearce) Johns.  Brian moved with his family to Ottawa, KS at the age of seven , living in Ottawa the remainder of his life except for a short period of time when he lived in Kansas City, KS. 

Brian held several jobs throughout his life eventually becoming a tattoo artist. He was a very gifted artist who was sought out by many friends for his work.

He is survived by six children; Dylan Conklin, Ottawa, KS, Kimber Gilbert, Mercer, MO, Jaeden Keith Bruno, Ottawa, KS, Zoey Conner, Ottawa,KS, Andrew Elledge, Miami, OK, Bryson Dent, Ottawa, KS; parents, David Johns, Sr.Pittsburgh,PA, and Deborah Johns, Ottawa, KS; five siblings, David Johns Jr., Ottawa, KS, Constance(Johns) Blackwell, Ottawa, KS, Michael Johns, Ottawa, KS, Dana Bruno, Pittsburgh, PA, Kelly Bruno, Pittsburgh, PA; and seven grandchildren, Tristen Gilbert, Brooklyn Gilbert, Pyper Gilbert, Athena Conklin, Carlie Conklin, Gracelynn Banhart and Damien Elledge.

Brian is preceded in death by a son Brandon Bruno, And his Grandparents Ralph Raleigh SR. and Maggie Raleigh and his aunts Constance Hilner and Mary Kay Bischoff

A celebration of Brian’s life will be 5:00 p.m., Saturday August, 15, 2020 at the Bruno Family Residence.. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Brian Bruno Memorial Fund and sent in care of Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, PO Box 14, Ottawa, KS 66067.
