Carol Warner 77, of Gardner KS, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, Aug 20, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.
Carol Ann Warner was born June 19, 1944 in Manly IA to Truman Sr. and Dorothy (Leslie) Warner and was fourth out of their five children; Sharol, Bill, David and Patty. Carol was united in marriage to Larry Evilsizor in August of 1960, together they had four children; Laura, Mark, Bill, and Karen. They were married for 20 years.
Carol worked for Lecompton Elementary School, Quaker Oats, and JcPenney where she retired after 25 years. During retirement, Carol enjoyed her time traveling, spending time with friends and family, and watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow up. She was a lover of animals, ranging from cats and dogs to chickens, horses, and goats. She also loved watching crime shows, the cooking channel, and gardening.
She will be missed by her brother David Warner (Bonnie) MN, her children Laura Unfred (Steve) MO, Mark Evilsizor (Jodi) KS, Bill Evilsizor (Kristi) KS, Karen Liebig KS, fifteen grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents Truman and Dorothy Warner, brother, Bill Warner, sisters Sharol Cain and Patty McConnell.
A private grave site service will be held 1:00 p.m., Sacred Heart Cemetery in Manly IA on Saturday September 4, 2021 with family and a celebration of life will be held at a later date with friends.
