Carolee Waddell

Carolee Waddell, 87 of Farmington, Michigan passed away Friday, October 14, 2016 at Botsford Continuing Health Center at Farmington, Michigan. Beloved wife of William, loving mother of Kim (Mark) Pichler and devoted grandmother to Christopher. She will be greatly missed by her sister Betty (Condie) Erwin of Topeka, KS, step daughter Peggy (Rich) Balfanz, stepson Donald (Carol) Waddell as well as many nieces and nephews; step grandchildren and all of her friends whom she cherished. Carolee was predeceased by her late husband Theodore Thompson. She was raised in rural Kansas in and near Williamsburg. She worked as a secretary and volunteered many hours at St Joseph Hospital in Orange, California and at Botsford Hospital in Farmington, Michigan. Her loving giving way will stay with those she leaves behind. Carolee loved music whether it be leading a small singing group at Botsford Commons, line dancing or playing her harmonica which she and Bill enjoyed together. To celebrate Carolee's life, services will be held 11 am Friday, October 21, 2016 at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, 325 S. Hickory, Ottawa, KS 66067. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Williamsburg, KS. The family will receive friends at 11 am Friday until the service hour at the funeral home.
