In his younger years he enjoyed taking time off to go fishing and later in life he kept himself busy many summer hours keeping his yard looking nice and neat. He loved his trips to Colorado with his wife and family but really he was happiest just about anywhere as long as his family was near. He always enjoyed his grandkids and their visits and felt especially blessed that his children made sure to see him daily with their morning breakfast and evening check-ins on Dad. His soft hearted nature was obvious to his family but it really came out in his love for all of his farm cats and especially his daucshund dog, Lucy. Chester loved a lot of things about his life but he held his love for his family far above anything else.
