Cody Dean Prescott

Cody Dean Prescott, age 41, Burlingame, KS, passed away Tuesday June 8, 2021, at Midland Care Hospice, Topeka, KS.  He was born in Topeka, KS on March 20, 1980 the son of David Prescott and Diana Lynn (Creviston) Prescott. Cody grew up in the Burlingame, Ks area graduating from Burlingame High School with the class of 1998. 

Cody work for twenty years in the new home construction industry, most of those years working for Holthouse Construction.  He later was a Certified Nurse’s Assistant at Presbyterian Manor Care home for two years.

Cody enjoyed woodworking and loved listening to jazz music.  He spent many hours tinkering in his shop just seeing what he could make out of different things he found laying around.  His main focus and biggest love of his life was his daughter Emme.  Every second he could spend with her was a joy for him.  He was proud of his daughter and loved her unconditionally.   

Cody is preceded in death by his mother Diana Lynn Prescott.

Survivors include his daughter Emme Prescott, Topeka, KS; father, David Dean Prescott, Burlingame, KS Patrisha Rusher, Burlingame, KS; brother, Troy Wade Prescott, Burlingame, KS; and a sister, Heather Diana, Auburn, KS.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday June 15, 2021 at the Federated Church of Burlingame.  Interment will follow at Burlingame Cemetery.  A visitation will be held 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, prior to the service at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made to Cody Prescott Memorial Fund sent c/o Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, P.O.
