Dale Reeder

Dale Reeder, 64, of Baldwin City, Kansas died Friday, February 6, 2026 at his home.

He was born March 25, 1961 in Norwalk, California the son of Kenneth Leon Reeder and Laurene (Smith) Reeder.  He graduated from Costa Mesa High School with the class of 1979. 

Dale worked as a dispatcher for a trucking company for much of his life.  He moved from Orange County, California to Baldwin City, Kansas in 2005. 

He enjoyed playing guitar, golfing, and fishing, pastimes that brought him both peace and connection throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Laurene Reeder; his sister, Nancy Epstein; his brother, Dan Reeder; and his significant other Jane Scarffe.

He is survived by his son, Stephen Reeder of Newport Beach, California; his brother, Clark Reeder and sister-in-law Kelly of Lake Forest, California; his cousins, Ron Reeder and Pam Reeder of Whittier, California; and his sister-in-law, Janet Reeder; and numerous nieces and nephews.
