Daryl Elyse Fulcher, 87, of Baldwin City, Kansas died Friday, May 29, 2026 at Baldwin Healthcare and Rehab in Baldwin City, Kansas.
She was born May 26, 1939 in Worcester, Massachusetts the daughter of Wallace and Elsie (Perks) Peterson. She graduated from Auburn High School with the class of 1957.
In 1977, Daryl was united in marriage to Charles C. Fulcher in Cape May Court House, New Jersey. They shared many years of loving marriage until Charles’ passing.
Daryl was a lifelong homemaker. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the American Legion Auxiliary in Cape May Court House, New Jersey. She enjoyed playing scrabble and doing crosswords, as well as yarn arts like knitting and crochet.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Elsie Peterson; her husband, Charles Fulcher; an aunt, Doris Durgin; and her grandparents, Joseph and Clara (Yarrington) Perks.
She is survived by three sons, Mark S. Lawson and his wife, Yevette, of Arkansas, Christopher Lawson and his wife, Deborah, of Baldwin City, KS, and Mike Lawson and his wife, Sarenna, of Baldwin City, KS; a daughter, Karen L. Lawson of Ft. Myers, FL; a sister, Doreen Elia of Madison, CT; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 5, 2026 at Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, 712 Ninth St, Baldwin City, KS 66006.
