Demetrius Alexander Johnson, 26, of Baldwin City, KS died Friday, December 31, 2021 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Lawrence, Kansas.

He was born March 13, 1995 in Dodge City, Kansas the son of Arthur Johnson and Brenda (Stein) Parsons. He graduated from Baldwin High School in 2013.

Demetrius enjoyed bowling, wrestling, camping, and swimming in his Aunt Sheila’s pool. He had a smile for days that was contagious to all around him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Johnson; a grandmother, Helen Johnson, and grandparents Val and Norma Jean Stein.

He is survived by his mother, Brenda Parsons and her husband, Kenny, of Baldwin City, KS; a sister, Breanna Parsons and Dakota of Baldwin City, KS; a brother, Darius Johnson of Baldwin City, KS; a step-brother, John Parsons of Dodge City, KS; a step-sister, Kendra Parsons of Dodge City, KS; a nephew, Hunter Dimitt; three nieces, Rozlynn Matney, Myrius Parsons, and Kadence Parsons; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.
