Elinor L Baldwin

Elinor L. Baldwin, 99, of Overbrook, KS died Friday, June 2, 2023 in Overbrook, Kansas.

She was born July 5, 1923 in Topeka, Kansas the daughter of Arnold and Eva (Moody) Koenitzer.  She spent 12 years going to nursing school after graduating from high school. 

On September 8, 1989, Elinor was united in marriage to Bill Baldwin in Overbrook, Kansas.

Elinor was employed under Dr. Hadley as a Registered Nurse at Ransom Memorial Hospital for 31 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Eva Moody; her husband, Bill Baldwin; and her son, David Rukes.

She is survived by her two grandsons, Jason Rukes of Sonoma, CA, and Brad Rukes of Wichita, KS; and her three great-grandsons, Jackson, Ethan, and Lucas of Wichita, KS.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 16, 2023 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Lapeer, KS.  Burial will follow at Overbrook Cemetery.  To celebrate Elinor’s life, a rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m. followed by a visitation from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 15, 2023 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Lapeer, KS.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Church, Lapeer sent c/o Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, P.O.
