Later in life Evelyn would go on and attend Chadron State College for three years taking several Art classes and a few general education classes.
She was a lifelong Homemaker and loved caring for her family. Evelyn took great care and pride in her cooking. Her family was always excited to sit down together and enjoy her meals. She also spent many years of her life working at home as an artist. She entered several art shows over her life and was always very proud of the numerous ribbons she received for her work. She sold many pieces of her work over time and was very skilled at her craft. One of her favorite aspects of Art was her years volunteering as an Art Instructor for children and older adults.
