Florence Rose Cade

Florence Rose Cade, 91, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Rock Creek Nursing Home. She was born October 8, 1929 in Williamsburg, Kansas, the daughter of Samuel Rome and Mary Ellen (Gossett) Harrington.   Florence was a 1947 graduate of Williamsburg High School. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Ottawa.

She married the late Ronald Cade on November 17, 1951, and resided in Washington and California before resettling in Ottawa in 1963.  Florence is survived by four children: C.W. Cade and his wife, Mary, Lawrence, Kansas; Edward C. Cade and his wife Leslie, Cleveland, Ohio; Christopher Ian Cade, Gladstone, Missouri; and Mary Cade Allen, Gladstone, Missouri; two grandsons, Matthew Cade, Kansas City, Missouri, Adrian Cade and his wife, Katelyn, Lawrence, Kansas; two granddaughters, Kate Cade, Alex Cade both of Cleveland; step grandson Zach Solotko, Cleveland, and great-granddaughter, Penelope Cade.

A Mass will be said 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 1, 2021, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Ottawa. Interment will follow at Emerald Cemetery at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. A Rosary will be said 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, Ottawa. Family will meet with friends immediately following the rosary from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Sacred Heart School, c/o Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, P.O.
