James Edward Staley, 58, of Eureka, Montana died Wednesday, March 18, 2026.
He was born April 25, 1967 in Ottawa, Kansas the son of David Harold Staley and Margaret Joanne Staley. He attended Ottawa High School, later earning his G.E.D.
In 1989, James was united in marriage to Linda Bowen. They welcomed their twins, James and Andrew, into the world in 1990. They later divorced. James was then united in marriage to Cheri Mustard in 1995. They shared many years of loving marriage until Cheri’s passing.
James worked at both Fashion and RML Premier Powder Coating in Ottawa, Kansas before moving to Montana. He then worked for a marble slab company.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Joanne Staley, and his wife, Cheri Staley.
He is survived by his father, David Harold Staley and his wife, Marilyn, of Williamsburg, KS; twin sons, James Donovan Staley and Andrew James Staley; a brother, Christopher Andrew Staley of Williamsburg, KS; two nieces, Abigail Staley of DeSoto, KS and Rosemary Staley of Branson, MO; and aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Cherry Street Wesleyan Church, 933 N Cherry St, Ottawa, KS 66067.
