Janea Annette Greer

Janea Annette Greer, 32, Wakarua, KS, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at St. Luke’s East Hospital, Lee’s Summit, MO. 

She was born September 6, 1988 in Independence, MO the daughter of Rob Rector and Sydney (Greer) Arnold. She grew up in the Lee’s Summit area graduating from Lee’s Summit North High School with the class of 2007.  She also graduated from Longview Community College in 2008.

Janea was an artistic, kind and caring soul.  She loved to draw and make art.  Her creative side was always on display.   Her infectious smile and kind heart will be missed by her friends and family.

Janea is survived by her mother, Sydney and her husband, Larry, Wakarusa, KS; a half-sister, Beth Rector; step-brother Kenneth Arnold, Beverly ,KS; Step sister Becky Collins, Fort Collins, CO; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins, but especially her aunt, Chris Gehrs, whom she absolutely adored.

She is preceded in death by her father, Rob Rector; her grandparents; two uncles, Greg Greer, R.W. Gehrs; and a half-brother, Mike Rector.
