Judy Edwardine (Kline) Masters

Judy Edwardine (Kline) Masters, 77, of Burlingame, Kansas died Thursday, June 18, 2026 in her home.

She was born February 8, 1949 in Topeka, Kansas the daughter of John William Kline and Geneva (Denny) Kline.  She graduated from Burlingame High School with the class of 1967. 

On February 3, 1968, Judy was united in marriage to Franklin Eugene Masters in Burlingame, Kansas. They shared almost 40 years of loving marriage before Franklin’s passing on January 14, 2008.

Judy began working at Spaulding’s Pharmacy in Burlingame. She then became the office manager at Burlingame CO-OP for 20 years. After the CO-OP, Judy worked for Auburn Animal Clinic as their office manager until her retirement in 2020. She was a member of the Friends of the Burlingame, KS Library and was an active community member overall.

Judy enjoyed going fishing and hunting for arrowheads locally. Her family was very important to her, and she was often found caring for her grandchildren. She would take them swimming weekly and attended their various sports. She also was very active in planning yearly family reunions.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Geneva Kline, and her husband, Franklin Masters.

She is survived by two sons, Richard Masters and Jayme Masters of Burlingame, KS; two brothers, John Kline and Eddie Kline of Scranton, KS; six grandchildren, Jacob Masters, Rene Masters, Dusty Masters-Ralston, Gracelynn Masters, Irish Masters, and Isabelle Masters; and four great-grandchildren, Stetson Masters, Braelin Ogden, Maren Masters, and Remington Masters.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at the Federated Church of Burlingame, Burlingame, Kansas. Interment will occur at the Masters Family Cemetery.
