Karen Lanette Bryan, 62, of Parsons, KS passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS.
She was born February 27, 1958 in Coden, Alabama the daughter of Elbie and Mary Ellen (Broades) Hutcherson. She grew up and graduated from Mobile County High School in Alabama.
Karen married Kenneth Morgan. They later divorced.
She moved to Ottawa, KS and worked for Royal Cleaners in Ottawa.
Karen married David Lee Bryan. They lived in Richmond, KS twenty-two years before his passing on January 14, 2015. Karen moved to Parsons, KS in 2016 to be with her daughter, Pam Morgan and grandson, Ke’Von Morgan. She was very creative as an Artist and especially loved to draw. The loved God and she loved hard.
Mrs. Bryan was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David Lee Bryan; a sister, Louise; and a step-grandson, Devin Long.
She is survived by a daughter, Pam Morgan of Parsons, KS; a grandson, Ke’Von Morgan of Parsons, KS; two step-daughters, Diana Dunn and husband, Gregory of Kansas City, MO and Susan Bryan and husband, Louis of Manhattan, KS; two step-sons, Toby Bryan and wife, Lisa of Garnett, KS and Lewis Bryan; two brothers, Ernest Hutcherson of Mobile, AL and Elby “Buddy” Hutcherson of Grand Bay, AL.
