Larry Dean Lesperance

Larry Dean Lesperance, 58, of Burlingame, KS passed away April 22, 2021 at his home. He was born June 9, 1962 in Concordia, Kansas the son of Darrell Roger Lesperance and Catherine Ann (Carroll) Thompson. He grew up and attended schools in Concordia, Kansas graduating from Concordia High School in 1980. 

After High School, Larry worked for the Eldorado Motor Company in McPherson, KS. He began a life-long career in Construction Engineering at Mid-Continent Engineers in Salina, KS and later for PEC Engineering in Topeka, KS. He currently worked for Benesch Engineering in Topeka, KS as a Certified Inspector for Road Construction.

Larry’s hobbies include operating Radio Controlled Cars, flying Radio Controlled Helicopters and Drones. He had a love of music and was a self-taught guitarist. Larry was an avid NASCAR Fan.  He loved celebrating the 4th of July and will be remembered for his neighborhood firework displays.

Mr. Lesperance was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving family includes a brother, Mark Lesperance and wife, Dawn of Lewiston, Idaho; a niece and a nephew. 

Due to COVID concerns, the family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
