Le Ann Renner Obituary

Le Ann Renner, 68, of Topeka, KS passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, KS.  She was born October 8, 1953 in Pocatello, ID the daughter of Albert and Ruth Ellen (Rayls) Renner.  Ruth later divorced and married Martin Koci who helped raise Le Ann. Le Ann graduated with the Class of 1971 from Washburn Rural High School in Topeka, KS.

She married Buddy Emmott and they later divorced.   She married Bill Dittman and they later divorced. 

Le Ann earned a Bachelor’s Degree and numerous Certificates from Washburn University in Topeka, KS.  She later earned a Master’s Degree in Education from Baker University, Baldwin City, KS. 

Le Ann taught school at Seaman Middle School in Topeka, KS for twenty-four years before her retirement.  She owned and operated Renner Tax Service in Topeka, KS for over forty years. 

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She enjoyed playing computer games, assembling puzzles, sewing and anything crafty. 

Le Ann was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by a son, Christopher Dittman and wife, Nicole of Tecumseh, KS; a daughter, Sarah Dittman of Auburn, KS; a brother, Allan Renner and wife, Jill of Lyndon, KS; and four grandchildren, Colby, Brody, Bryn and Chance. 

A Celebration of Le Ann’s life will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the Auburn Community Center, 121 West 11th Street, Auburn, KS, 66402.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Le Ann Renner Memorial Fund and sent in c/o the Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, P.O.
