Linda L. Ainsworth

Linda L Ainsworth age 73 of Ottawa, KS passed away October 20, 2023 at Advent Health Ottawa.

Linda was born January 11, 1950 at Ransom Memorial Hospital, Ottawa, KS, the daughter of Sherrel Ralston and Rowena (Richardson) Ralston. She was a lifelong Ottawa resident attending Ottawa High School with the class of 1968.

Linda was a Lead Assembler for King Radio in Ottawa.

In 1968 Linda was united in marriage to Lee Marconette in Ottawa, they later divorced.  In 1981 she was united in marriage to Dennis Ainsworth, they also later divorced.

Linda loved to fish. When she was able she always found time to get to a pond or lake and go fishing.  She loved the calm and quiet of nature by the water bank.  She also enjoyed her many times playing bingo with friends and family over the years.  It seemed that every time she went she came away a winner.  Sundays in the fall were focused on family, food and Chiefs Football. She loved watching her beloved Chiefs on Sundays and having her family come over and have meal with her.  Above anything Linda loved her family, especially her wonderful grandchildren of whom she adored.

She is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Fine, Quenemo, KS; son, Darren Marconette, Pomona, KS; two sisters, Brenda Tegtmeyer, Ottawa, KS, Melissa Bonzo, Ottawa, KS; brother, David Ralston, Kansas City, KS; seven grandchildren, Joshua, Jamie, Lacey, Kyle, Stephanie, Derrick, Stephen; and four great grandchildren, Ethan, Julian, Sylvia, and Adrian.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Sherrel and Rowena Ralston; son D.J. Ainsworth; sister, Rhonda Fritts; brother, Billy Dale Richardson; and a great granddaughter, Hannah.

A Celebration of Life will be held 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday October 30, 2023 at Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, Ottawa, KS.  Private inurnment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Linda Ainsworth Memorial Fund sent in care of Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, P.O.
