Lorrie Beth Leathers

Lorrie Beth Leathers, 53 of Tulsa, Oklahoma, formerly of Williamsburg, Kansas was called to be with her Lord and Savior on November 14, 2017. She was born May 9, 1964 in Ottawa, KS, the daughter of Larry and Elizabeth Ann (Foushee) Shaffer. She attended school in Pomona, graduating in 1983. Lorrie was a mother, homemaker and servant of God. She was extremely generous with her time and service to others, doing work no one else would do. She visited many churches throughout her life to get the fullest experience for her soul. Lorrie was united in marriage to David Leathers on October 6, 1989. They were partners in life and business for over 28 years. He survives of the home along with their beautiful son, Matthew. She is also survived by her parents, Larry and Elizabeth Shaffer, Williamsburg, KS; two sisters, Tamera Browyer and husband, Jeff, of Ottawa, KS and Penny New and husband, Steve, of Ottawa, KS; and many nieces and nephews. Lorrie was preceded in death by her grandparents. Family will greet friends from 6 - 8 p.m. on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at the Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, 325 S. Hickory, Ottawa, KS. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday November 20, 2017 at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Williamsburg, KS.
