Mandy Sleichter

Mandy Ann Sleichter, 42, of Marion, KS formerly of Ottawa, KS, died January 1, 2023 at St. Luke Hospital, Marion, KS.

She was born February 5, 1980 in Ottawa, Kansas the daughter of Keith W. Sleichter.  She graduated from Central Heights High School with the class of 1999.   

Mandy was united in marriage to Joseph McAlexander Nickel, Sr.

She was a lifelong homemaker and mother.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Esther and Kenneth Sleichter; sister, Kristin Sleichter, and a grandbaby, Joss Nickel.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Nickel; two sons, Joseph Alan Nickel, Jr (Jillian) of Marion, KS, Zachary Todd Nickel, Marion, KS; father, Keith Sleichter (Connie); six sisters, Jeanette Durbin, Ottawa, Jessica Williams, Princeton, Jodi Jamison, Topeka, Kayla Hays, Ottawa, Robin Elder, Lawrence, Shena Mooney, Topeka, KS; brother, Kevin Elder; and two grandsons, Joey Nickel, III and Jackson.

A Celebration of Life will be held 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Princeton Community Center, Princeton, KS. Condolences may be sent to the family through www.lamb-roberts.com.
