Melinda S. (Perry) Fox

Melinda S. (Perry) Fox, 69, of Ottawa, Kansas died Sunday, August 25, 2024 at Rock Creek of Ottawa.

She was born May 10, 1955 in Ottawa, Kansas the daughter of Homer and Mattie (Evans) Perry.  She graduated from Ottawa High School with the class of 1973. 

In June 1976, Melinda was united in marriage to James Fox in Ottawa, Kansas.  They later divorced. 

Melinda worked at King Radio and American Eagle. She then worked as a data entry specialist in Lawrence, KS until her retirement ten years ago. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Mattie Perry.

She is survived by a son, Eric James Fox of Mapleton, KS; a sister, Melaina Walker of Ottawa, KS; three brothers, Michael R. Perry of Ottawa, KS, David C. Perry of Ottawa, KS, and Stanley W. Perry of Louisville, KY; a grandson, Sylas James Fox; a granddaughter, Khloe Aspen Marie Fox and three step-grandchildren, Aryanna Cormier, Abigail Scrutchfield, Emily Kasson.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 13, 2024 at Highland Cemetery, Ottawa, KS.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Research Association and sent c/o Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, P.O.
