Michael William Kneedler

Michael William Kneedler, age 56, Baldwin City, KS passed away June 15, 2020 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Lawrence, KS. He was born November 22, 1963 at Gardner, KS the son of William Arthur Kneedler and Anna Mae (Hepner) Kneedler-Rebman. Mike was a lifelong Baldwin City resident, graduating from Baldwin High School with the class of 1982. Mike was currently a Heavy Equipment Operator for J.W. Contractors for twenty-nine years. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and in his younger years loved to play softball and ride jet-ski while camping at the lake. He enjoyed a good western movie and never missed out on a car show in the local area. Most important in Mike's life was his family. He loved his wife and kids. He always was at his kids' soccer matches and any other activity they had. On August 21, 1993, Mike was united in marriage to Donna Niehoff in Baldwin City, KS. They shared twenty-six years of marriage. Mike is survived by his wife, Donna Kneedler, Baldwin City, KS; two sons, Arthur "A.J." Kneedler, Baldwin City, KS, Luke Kneedler, Baldwin City, KS; and two sisters, Cindy Pappas, Baldwin City, KS, Nancy Walker, Tallahassee, FL. He is preceded in death by his parents; step father George Rebman; and nephew Mike Erickson. Graveside funeral services will be held 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 22, 2020 at Oakwood Cemetery, Baldwin City, KS. The family will meet with friends for a visitation Friday June 19, 2020 at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, Baldwin City, KS from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Michael Kneedler Memorial Fund sent in c/o Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, P.O.
