Michael Lee Ohse

Michael Lee Ohse, 65, of Carbondale, Kansas died Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at his home with family by his side.

He was born December 7, 1959 in Richland, Kansas the son of Henry and Carol (Stevens) Ohse.  In 1977, he attended Kaw Area Technical School in Topeka, KS for printing.  He graduated from Valley Falls High School with the class of 1978. 

Michael worked at Hallmark from 1978 until 2015 as a Large Press Operator. 

Michael had a passion for riding and customizing Harley Davidson motorcycles.  He found joy in assembling models, particularly of his Jeep.  His love for the outdoors took him on many camping and fishing adventures.  As a dedicated Chiefs fan, he never missed watching a game.  His loyal companion and best friend was his dog, Rocky.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Ohse; his wives, Katy and Brenda Ohse; and his brother, William Ohse.

He is survived by his father, Henry Ohse of Carbondale, KS; two nieces, Brandi Ohse of Topeka, KS and Jessica Ohse of Topeka, KS; and four great-nieces and nephews, Martin Padilla, Adonis Foster, Jakobe Stringfield, and Armani Foster.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 7, 2025 at Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, 730 Western Heights Dr, Overbrook, KS 66524.  Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice and sent c/o Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, P.O.
