Molly Kneale

Molly Marie Kneale, age 74, of Wakarusa, KS, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Midland Hospice House, Topeka, KS.  She was born on June 7, 1947 in Pratt, KS the daughter of Victor J. Stegman and Ruby F. (Gillette) Stegman. Early in her life her family moved to the Wakarusa, KS area where she lived for most of the rest of her life.  She graduated from Washburn Rural High School with the Class of 1965.

Molly was a Manufacturing Factory worker for Davol, Lawrence, KS.  She worked for Quality Oil prior to her many years at Davol.

She was a fun loving and quiet person.  Molly loved to go fishing.  She was always excited to get to the lake and enjoy a day.  She was a reader and always was excited to start a new book.  She also had a very artistic aside that came out in the various jewelry items she made over the years.

On April 5, 1991 Molly was united in marriage to William Kneale in Miami, OK.  They shared thirty-one years of loving marriage.

Molly is survived by her husband, William Kneale, Wakarusa, KS; three sisters, Judy Kutrz, Scranton, KS, Coleen Cambron, Osage City, KS, Elizabeth Scott, Scranton, KS; and two brothers, Rubin Stegman, Carbondale, KS, and Arnol Stegman, Topeka, KS.

She is preceded in death by her parent; two daughters, Kimberly Ann Mechtley, Carolyn Mechtey; and a brother, Samuel Andrew Stegman.

Private funeral services will be held.  Interment will occur at Carbondale Cemetery, Carbondale, KS.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association sent c/o the Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, P.O.
