Nadine Lois Caple

Nadine Lois Caple, age 86, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away October 24, 2014, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center, Shawnee Mission, Kansas. Nadine was born on November 7, 1927, in Garnett, KS, the daughter of Lester S. Lingo and Ada (Beard) Lingo. Nadine graduated from Waverly High School with the class of 1947. Nadine was a Member of the 15th Street Church of Christ, the ladies Bible class, EHU Club, Family and Community Education, Member of the Franklin county Historical Society. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother, Girl Scout Leader. She like to garden, enjoyed flowers and was just a crafty lady. She was a doughnut maker at Casey's General Store when she retired in 1992. Nadine was united in marriage with Ernest Caple, February 20, 1949 in Olathe, KS. He preceded her in death Nadine is also preceded by her parents; a son Kenneth L Caple, a brother Edwin Lingo, two sisters Rose Mary Kunard, and Fern McDouyd Nadine is survived by; daughter Linda S. Jessip of Paola, KS; brother Garry J Lingo of Ottawa, KS; grandchildren, Brandy Andrick, Kristen Caple, and Brandon Jessip; great-grandchildren, Marian Marie Andrick, Destiny Marie Caple, Michelle L. Andrick, Mason Caple, Marcus Andrick, Savannah Andrick and Elizabeth Caple The family welcomes friends for a visitation service on Thursday October 30, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, Ottawa, KS. The graveside service will be held Saturday November 1, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Central Cemetery South of Pomona, KS.
