Nancy Ann (Perry) Crow, 87, of Auburn, KS passed away Friday, August 5, 2022 at Homestead of Auburn in Auburn, KS. She was born July 6, 1935 in Topeka, KS the daughter of Frank Warren Perry and Thelma Annis (Raby) Perry. Nancy graduated from Auburn High School with the class of 1953.
On August 21, 1953, Nancy was united in marriage to Gerald Lee Crow at the Wakarusa Presbyterian Church, Wakarusa, KS. They shared sixty-eight years of marriage before Gerald’s passing on July 3, 2022.
Nancy worked many years as a Cook at Wakarusa Grade School. She took a break from cooking and worked for Farm Bureau Insurance for several years, and then returned to cooking for the Auburn-Washburn School District. After her retirement, she took care of Noah which she absolutely loved.
Nancy dearly loved her grandchildren and their families and was always so happy getting to spend time with them. She also enjoyed baking, her pets, traveling.
Mrs. Crow was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Thelma Perry; her husband, Gerald; a sister, Joan Culberson; and a brother-in-law, Donald Froelich.
Nancy is survived by two daughters, Gina Bringle and husband, Kerry of Sugar Land, TX and Karen Crow of Wakarusa, KS; a sister, Lois Froelich of Lansing, KS; a brother, Wilson Perry and wife, Rita Shelley of Omaha, NE; a brother-in-law, Gary Culberson of Mesa, AZ; two grandsons, Troy Bringle and wife, Amanda of Houston, TX and Jason Bringle and wife, Marilyn of Cypress, TX; and eight great-grandchildren, Trent, Cole, Daisy, Wes, Grace, Rhett, Nell and Kit.
To celebrate Nancy’s life, the family will receive friends 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 11, 2022 at the Shawnee Center Cemetery, Wakarusa, KS. Graveside services and Inurnment will follow at 11 a.m. at the Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Donor’s Choice and sent in c/o the Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, P.O.
