Patricia A. Jensen

Patricia A. Jensen, age 78, of Ottawa, KS, passed away November 26, 2023, at Plaza West Care Center, Topeka, KS.

Patricia was born March 11, 1945, in Paola, KS, the daughter of Vernon E. Frye and Mildred (Snedeger) Frye.  Patricia graduated from Quenemo High School, Quenemo, KS with the class of 1963. She then went on to attend Tennessee Temple College, Chattanooga, TN.   Patricia lived most of her adult life in the Ottawa, KS area.

She operated Lots of Love Daycare out of her home for over ten years in Ottawa.  She loved caring for the children she watched and always was happy to watch them blossom and grow over the years. 
 

Patricia was saved at the early age of seven.  She spent her life loving the Lord and helping others find Jesus.  She loved to read her Bible and sharing the message of salvation.  She was a missionary in Canada for several years an adventure she was always proud to have been a part of.  She also enjoyed painting and playing games like scrabble and Skip-Bo.  She loved her family and especially her grandchildren.

Patricia was a longtime member of the Community Revival Center, Ottawa, KS.  She worked the nursery there and was a door greeter for many years.  She recently was a regular at South Knollwood Baptist Church, Topeka, KS.

Patricia was united in marriage to John Edwards, they later divorced.  She later married William Sink.  They were later divorced.

She is survived by six children, John Sink, Topeka, KS, Steve Sink, Detroit, MI, Angie Sink, Topeka, KS, Daniel Sink, Kansas City, KS, Melissa Bishop, Auburn, KS, Melinda Williams, Kansas City, KS; three step children, Robert Sink, Des Moines, IA, Peter Sink, Orlando, FL, Lisa Sink, Des Moines, IA; brother, Andy Frye, Garnett, KS; and two half siblings, Eleanor Fankhouser, Eugene Frye;  twenty-five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Mildred Frye and a brother, Steven Frye.

The family will greet friends for a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, Ottawa, KS.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 1, 2023, at Knollwood Baptist Church, Topeka, KS.  Interment will be at 3:00 p.m., Friday December 1, 2023 at Highland Cemetery, Ottawa, KS.  Memorial contributions may be made to Patricia Jensen Memorial Fund sent in care of Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, P.O.
