Patrick Howard

Patrick T. Howard, 88 of Ottawa, KS died Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Rock Creek, Ottawa.

He was born June 26, 1933 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, the son of Paul and Lada Howard. On May 17, 2007 Pat married Penny Bowers at the Town & Country Church of Christ.  They recently celebrated their 14th anniversary.

A lifelong mechanic, Patrick could fix and build anything. He enjoyed working in his garage until the day he passed. Pat was an avid motorcyclist for 70 years and proud member of Brothers of the Third Wheel Club. A church deacon, Pat loved God and read his Bible every day. Self-taught on guitar, Pat played and sang country music.

He is survived by his wife, Penny, Ottawa; first wife Janet Howard, son Jerry Howard of Medford, OR; two daughters, Lynda Falley of Victoria, KS and Jeanie Shackelford of Andover, KS; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Ray Howard, and former wife, Peggy Howard.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 1, 2021 at the Town and Country Church of Christ in Ottawa.  Burial will follow at Prairie City Cemetery in Baldwin City, KS.  Visitation is 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, Ottawa.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Town and Country Church of Christ and sent c/o Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, P.O.
